Question about pre-booking things?

Piggybacking also (!)

Just hit the 120 day window today (for our 1st cruise:dogdance:). I booked a port excursion and the Princess meet & greet. Doesn't let me pick Frozen and no message why, so I thought i maxed out at 1 but it may just be unavailable. gotta luv Disney tech!

My question is re: the port excursion $$ . It is "confirmed" and shows up on that day, but not under "all days" and no longer in my cart. When do I pay for it? On my account settled on ship? I would feel safer if it was charged now and I know it is really reserved...
Port excursions are charge to your onboard account. Usually at the start of the cruise. When you made the reservation, did you click "confirm" for it? If not, you probably don't have the reservation.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I clicked Confirm (luckily I saw that at one point) and see it on my activities. So, I guess we're set for that! Bummed that I diidn't get my 1st choice (which was lighthouse & Titanic) but we really booked for the cruise more than the port stop itself. We can't wait!

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the excursion you wanted. Sometimes people make the reservation "just in case" that's what they want to do. Then cancel when they find not everyone is interested. One of the problems with not having to pay for the excursion when you book it. If it opens up you could change.

Great idea! Will do.
