Question about POR- paper confirmation--

I made a reservation for the weekend of May7th at the Port Orleans Riverside. Yesterday in the mail I received my "paper confirmation"-- BUT I recieved TWO. One was for the Port Orleans Riverside for May 7-9 AND the other one was for Port Orleans French Quarter for the same dates. They DID have different reservation numbers-- same price and same information on both-- So I called to check it out and the person at Disney Reservations said that since they are the "same resort basically" that you always get two?? I have NEVER heard of this-- I said that I ONLY wanted the room reservation at Port Orleans Riverside and he said to disregard the French Quarter one-- What would you do??

Check with your CC company and see if you have been double billed.

Then I would call CRO, but ask to speak to a supervisor about it. Dont want to cancel both nor do you want to pay for two rooms.

I just received my conformationletter for PORFQ and only got one. They really are two different resorts. They are just under the same general name. Port Orleans.

Check that Credit card statement!

I didn't put them on my credit card-- I am mailing a check-- but I think based on what y'all are saying that I will call back and see what the NEXT person says in the reservation department and if they say the same thing I will ask to speak to a manager-- I don't think I should have gotten two confirmations at all. Thanks for the advice.

I booked FQ for May and only have 1 paper confirmation ressie, for FQ. That's all I had last time too. I'd check it.

Sounds like a mistake to me. I reserved POR and AKL for April and I just got my paper confirmations. One for each.

We're booked at POR and haven't ever gotten but one confirmation with every payment. Each one says Port Orleans Riverside.

I have a question for you guys, when did you all get your confirmation in the mail? I just booked ours about 3 or 4 weeks ago, to stay at the FQ. I know we have lot's and lot's of time left before we leave, but I was just wondering when they would send out the confirmation to us.

I got mine within 10 days of the call to reserve it.

I've gotten mine within 5 days of reservations and payments.

DEFINITELY A MISTAKE!!POR and POFQ are considered 2 different sister resorts.I have booked POR and only received confirmation for POR.Insist on speaking to a supervisor!

I made my ressie for late April about 3 weeks ago. After not getting a confirmation after 2 weeks, I called to confirm. I was still in the system, but I asked them to send it out again. I got it in about 5 days. I only received one for POFQ.
