o.k. so i'm sure this is a really stupid question, and i am posotive i misunderstood it, but, i have to ask. is there no door deviding the bathroom from the room at the pop? is it just like right there next to the bed? i know, you are probably laughing! explain the bathroom in the room set up...PLEASE!!!

Forgive me but I now have a mental image of a potty sitting right next to a bed in a very small jail style room. :rotfl2:

I can without a doubt tell you that this is not the set up used for these rooms. When you walk into the room there are two double beds with a night stand between them and a tv stand and table on the opposite wall. Once you walk past the beds there is a seperation to the room that can be blocked with a curtain. In this area is a mirror and sink with a small counter space. If you turn to the left you will have a door beyond that door is a the "bathroom" area. It is a small space with a tub/shower and toilet. There is very little room in there, but it is seperate from the bed area.

I hope that is a vivid enough description to help you out.

There is a single sink at the end of the room with a spot to hang clothes on to the side. On the other side there is a door that leads to a small room with a toilet and bath/shower. I also think there is a curtain that you can close to give you privacy in the sink area.

:rotfl2: that is totally what i was picturing!! well, thanks for clearing that up for me. we have only stayed at deluxe hotels in our past visits to disney!! so i'm sure it will be an adjustment, but, we spend very little time in our room while we are there, so i'm sure it will be fine to sleep and shower in! plus i have 2 little ones, and i have heard kids really enjoy this resort!! :rotfl2: thanks again!!

The last time that I stayed at POP there was a smoker in the next room....each morning they smoked in their bathroom --- it almost seemed as if there was NO WALL between our bathroom and theirs.:rotfl:

There is no curtain in Pop rooms, but there are in ASmu rooms. Here is a floorplan for Pop's rooms:

I know what you mean, the first time my husband and I went to WDW we stayed at a moderate resort and felt that we did not spend nearly enough time in the room to justify the extra money. Last year when we visited we decided on a value resort and we loved it. It was so great that we are giving the All Stars a try this year. The themeing is so very disney. The rooms are small, but like you said you barely spend any time in them anyways. And in my opinion, do not let those people who talk negatively about the value resorts scare you away. I almost let that happen last year, but in the end we really enjoyed ourselves. I hope that ya'll have a wonderful trip. :) :thumbsup2

hey guys!! thanks for the replies, they really put my mind to ease. especially the video, i had seen many pictures of the rooms, but the video made me feel like i was there!! it was great. i know, as soon as you say you are staying at a value resort, there is always at least one person who jumps in with a negitive comment. honestly, it almost did scare me away from the pop in the begining. but, when i really think about it, we are not picky people. we don't pick things apart to find the littlest things to complain about, we don't mind if we have to walk to our room, because we are active people, we don't mind if the rooms are small, because we only use it to sleep and shower, we don't care if the hotel is a little noisy, because we are in disney, and everyone is so excited to be there!! that is a wonderful thing to hear. and the countless other bad things people have said...we decided, we will decide for ourselves! our past stays at deluxe hotels have been beautiful, but, very expensive, and for the amount of time we actually stayed in them, i'm not sure they are worth it, for us. i am definately not saying i will never stay in one again, just saying we are going to try something different for this trip. like i said, we don't find little things to complaine about, we are in disney world on vacaton, what is there to complaine about!!!

Oooh, I love the floor in that bathroom! Okay, random comment over.

Me too! Our first trip to Pop was this January, and I loved the quality of the bathroom. The floor and shower curtain are cool - and I think there were Mickeys in the wallpaper...
