Question about pool depths clown pool and storm along bay

I have 2 kids. One is 2 about 35" and the other about 43" tall.

Does anyone know how depth of the clown pool? Are the sides of the pool shallower than the center of the pool? I recall they have a very shallow baby pool area. I need to make sure my older son can at least touch in that pool. So if we go into the deep pool, he can touch, while i hold onto the 2 yr old.
Is there just the clown slide? No baby slide there?

At the quiet pool bwv. Anyone know how deep the shallower parts of the pool are?

At storm along bay. Is there a zero entry point somewhere. Anyone know how deep a lot of the pools are there, or where that information might be at?

How does the clown slide compare to the slide at BLT? My son will do the BLT slide. Is the clown slide more intense or less intense? thanks

Stormalong Bay has lots of different depths. There is a very shallow area where the sandbar is for the kids to make sand castles and dig. It is either zero entry or close to it. Most of the main pool is between 4 and 5 feet. Parts of the lazy river are up to 8 feet deep. The different pools/lazy river are not connected to one another, so it is like 3 separate pools. Additionally, there is a kiddie pool and slide right behind the steps of the big Jib Slide.

I believe the BWI clown pool starts at a depth of around 3'6" and gets deeper as you get into the center. While we love BWI, that is not a great pool for smaller children or children who can't swim well, unless they have a swim vest on (which they provide at the pool). Zero entries are, obviously, easier to manage with smaller children as you can control the depth. The clown slide is awesome, IMHO. My DS8 has been on every deluxe slide at WDW and it's his favorite. It just spins in a few circles. The other nice thing about the slide is you can see your child standing in line from the pool deck and you can see them enter the slide so you know they are coming down. The depth of the pool at the slide exit is about 3'6" as well, so not too deep - again, good with a vest on.

SAB is probably a better bet if you want a shallower pool. The kids' pool area is, I believe, 2' at it's lowest depth and the smaller slide at the Flying Jib is really nice for the younger kids. When my DS was 4 and 5, he spent his entire afternoon just going down that smaller slide.

Totally agree. After a long day at the parks I was able to sit at the bar and have a drink or sit in the hot tub and have a drink, anyone noticing a trend , and watch my children move from pool to slide and back again without having to walk around to follow them. Very relaxing!

Storm along Bay is 8 feet deep in some areas. And they can come as a surprise.

You'll want to be very close to your kids at SAB.
