Question about points and use year?

I am new and unsure of this and though that someone here would be my best source of info! Thanks in advance for any help! Here is my situation: My use year is June so my banking month is November. I will be using some of my points that I get in June 05 in Jan 06 and then want to use the rest in Dec 06. Do I bank the points that I will not be using before June 06, even though I plan to make the reservation in May 06? If I should bank, how do I then proceed?

You could bank your points, or just call and make the reservations at the 11 month window, and let MS handle it in whatever way they see fit. Explain to them what you want to do when you make your January 06 reservations next month. Of course, you could just let your points "rest" for awhile, just in case you sneak in a long weekend a some point. Don't forget that you can bank after November, too, since banking limits are based on your total points, not on the points you have left. In other words, if you own 150 pts, and you want to bank 50 pts, you can bank up to the 50% month without losing any of the 50 pts you want to bank.
