this has possibly been anwsered a thousand times, but i just confused myself beyond belief

we arrive at Fl around noon on jan 10th (wednesday)
i figured we could have the front desk hold our bags so we could head right out to MGM since we have ADR at 50's prime time(first question --> can this be done or do i have to stay with in the resort UNTIL check-in time, then go to the parks?) that would count as one park admission day right?
now all the other days look like this
11 MK --> ADR at WCC and back to MK
12 epcot --> ADR at Coral reef
13 sea world --> ADR at chef mickey's
14 AK --> ADR at Boma --> MK
15 MGM --> ADR at mama melrose

is the 14th going to be a problem since i am going to 2 diff parks in one day? does park hopper mean i can go in and out but to the same park each day?
ie mak --> lunch/dinner --> back to mk or can this "back to" be a diff park

i know this sounds confusing hence my asking the question :sad2:
thanks for any help!

Let's see if I can help you out at all. First you might want to make sure you have enough time to make it to your hotel and then to your ADR at the Prime Time Cafe. (Which I should add I love going to!!!) When you get to the resort you can check in even if your room isn't ready, you just can't go up to your room. (This happened with us on our last trip.) They'll give you your passes and tell you how to find out when your room is ready.

That first day does count on day one on your park passes. Now I"m assuming you have a seven day park hopper pass. That means you have seven different days to visit the parks. The hopper part means you can visit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epoct and MGM as many times as you want during the day. For example if you wanted to have breakfast in Magic Kingdom then "hop" over to Animal Kingdom to see a Parade then go have lunch in Epcot then finish up with Dinner at MGM you could and it would only count as one day off your park passes. (I hope that makes sense.) I wouldn't suggest trying to do more then two parks during a day. (I do one park in the morning and another park after my afternoon break. Each person has a different way they like to do things.)

You should know that for your ADR for Boma that it is not actually in the Animal Kingdom, it's at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which is a hotel. I'm not sure where you're staying but you'd have to take a bus to one of the parks(Animal Kingdom is probably the best) and then get the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus from there.

Oh and one last note I'm not sure how long you plan to stay at Sea World on the day you go but make sure you leave with enough time to get back for your ADR. Sea World is a bit of a drive from WDW if I recall correctly. (As it's not part of WDW.)

I hope I'm not making this really complicated. If you need me to explain more just ask.

so the only way to get there would be to rent a car? or is the WDW transportation part of it?
how hard would be to get there from ASMO?, how much would a cab? bus cost?

Sea World is not a part of WDW so you can not use WDW transportation to get there. I've never done the trip to Sea World from WDW so I'm not sure. (My grandparents lived in Florida so we only did the drive from their house.) But I went to the Sea World part of this board and found that someone had just asked this question so here is a link to the answer. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162257 Hope this helps.

If you need more help feel free to ask.

To answer your first question: You will not have to wait around the resort lobby until the official checkin time. You can check your bags with bellservices and then take care of checking in. If your room is ready, you'll be checked in immediately. If it's not, you'll be issued your room key with your tickets coded on it and be given a number to call to find out what room has been assigned to you. You're then free to visit the parks if you wish.

Just an observation, if you'll permit me. You might want to think about what that hopping option is costing your ($47.93 per ticket w/tax) and what you'll be getting with that hopping option. Your plans currently show that you're only hopping on one day. You're spending the entire day at a single park on all of the other days. So you'll be paying almost $48 per person just to hop on one night. You might want to rethink that AK --> Boma --> MK day and maybe spend the whole day at AK and then head over to Downtown Disney for the evening.

Yes, I am going to echo some of my pp madforthemoust! You can pre-check in and get your resort key, park passes etc. I also think her advice to re-think your park hopper pass is great advice. With the non-hopping pass you can still leave and re-enter the same park, just not a different park. OTOH if you really want to move from AK to MK on that one day it may be worth it to you. If I were you I would not purchase the hopper option at all and then if you find you want/need it you can add it during the trip. (It will cost the same either way).

Also - on SeaWorld, as others have pointed out you will have to arrange your own transporation as that isn't a Disney Park. You can take a cab, call a towncar or rent a car for the day. On the off chance that you think your Disney MYW park pass will get you into SeaWorld, it will not, you will need a separate admission ticket for your day at SeaWorld.
