Question about park and party tickets

Hi guys

I haven't been to Disney in almost three years and am a little bit out of practice. We're doing a short trip in November. I'll have a two day one park per day ticket and tickets to MVMCP. Our plan is to do a park on day 1, MVCMP day 2, and then another park on day 3. If I have both the park ticket and party ticket linked in MDE how do I ensure they use that on day 2 and not the second day of the park ticket? We're planning on going in at 4pm to get those few extra hours before the party starts at 7.

Party tickets are scanned in using a separate entrance from the regular ticket holders. They will only accept party tickets in those lines. We've gone 3 years in a row to MNSSHP (same setup) with park entitlements on MDE at the same time as party tickets, and as long as we use the party line there's no issue with them "accidentally" using one of our park days instead of the party ticket.
