Question about offers on SR and other reward sites..

I am getting started on SR, and I am enjoying the daily surveys, the clicks, scratch off, and emails and the money I am making with them. I have tried to expand out and try some of the other paid surveys and offers, but am having a problem. Once I get to a certain point on the other ones it is a matter of clicking yes or no and it often insists that I select 1 offer to go on. I don't want to end up spending money to make money on these sites so I wonder am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to handling all of those offers that come up. How far do I need to go to get credit for the offers? Any help would be appreciated.

usually I can find one offer to look at...
I try and stay away from any subscription ones... but look for the education or home improvement ones
once I select yes, it takes me to another page with that offer... after looking at the offer I have the option to "skip" the offer.

I usually look for email newsletters. I have found some really good ones through these offers from betty crocker, weight watchers, and overstock. They are usually free and fullfill what the offer is asking me to do.
