I hope somebody can help me out. If I have one of the new tickets without the Park Hopping option, and I schedule a character breakfast in Magic Kingdom, before it opens, but am planning on going to EPCOT for the day, will it charge me for an entrance to MK? If I'm out before it opens? I hope this makes sense to someone and they can help me out. ::MickeyMo

You will need to use a ticket day to get into the MK for breakfast. Unfortunately, if you do not have park hopping on your tickets. You will be charged an entire day again if you go to another park that day. So, if you're doing breakfast at MK-- I'd plan on spending my day there. Otherwise, that will turn into a pricey meal!!!

Of course if you are having CRT--- you could try the Princess breakfast in Epcot. Unless the castle is the big draw here. Also, there are a lot of character meals (including breakfast's) at the various resorts you could try.

I don't know for sure but I would guess you would not be able to go to Epcot after already being at MK. The reason I say this is most of what I read about the restaurants says you have to have a valid park admission to go to the restaurant.

I have never been to an early breakfast like this, do you have to have your ticket scanned before you enter the park for the breakfast? That would mean no Epcot for that day.

Also, once you enter one park in a day and don't have park hopping, your ticket will not be valid for another park that day so you couldn't go to another park even if you were willing to use 2 days worth of the ticket in one day.

Yes, you will need to use your ticket for entrance into the Magic Kingdom.

If your ticket does not have park-hopping, you won't be able to get into Epcot later that same day.

BUT - it's not too late to add park hopping to your ticket. You can take it to any Guest Relations window and they add the hopping for $37.28 ($35 + $2.28 in sales tax).

Or, you can simply alter your itinerary, and spend the day at the Magic Kingdom.
