As I stated last year, a member of my family has an issue with sudden loud noises (gun shots, explosions, etc.). Out of the houses and attractions this year at HHN, do any of them contain noises like these?

I haven't been this year yet (only 2 more weeks!), but War of the Living Dead will have these, I'm sure, as this is a war-themed zone. I am sure someone who has been can come and answer the question more specifically, and tell you exactly.
The most common sudden noise you will hear is a scareactor coming up alongside you with a chainsaw, they don't turn it on until they are close. If you've ever heard a chainsaw that's it. There are also some explosions in the shows but that's all I can think of. There are only a few chainsaws this year so it shouldn't be a big problem. In the Wolfman there is one scene where a man shoots at the Werewolf with a shotgun. You may hear it go off before you get to the scene, that's the only startling loud noise I can think of for the houses. The War of the Dead has gunshot noises but you can see and hear what's going on so you shouldn't be startled.
Does she have hyperacusis or does she just get startled? If she has hyperacusis, Bill & Ted will be downright painful for her in parts (I watch it with my ears covered through the whole thing till I learn when the explosions are coming). Rocky Horror has had loud explosions in years past, but I haven't seen it yet this year.
I think HHN would be the absolute worst time to visit the parks if noises bother you. There is always the sound of chainsaws and screaming. The music is also pretty loud and lots of sudden noises in the houses.

I do testing of objects that get pressurized with air. If a seal lets go there is a loud explosion and, if the object is big enough, a concussion that has knocked books off of shelves 30 feet away. So you can imagine that it can be both very loud and very startling. To combat that I wear earmuffs which take away most of the "startle" factor. In HHN I wouldn't go to that extreme but you may find that foam earplugs can go a long way towards turning those loud bangs into manageable thumps. Just a suggestion. You can buy them in any hardware store.
