Question about new Disney Visa Fall package and which ticktets to buy ?

Hi -

I'm thinking about booking this package for the 2nd part or our trip (we are DVC and have booked that already).

I'm seeing many of you mention that you are adding just the 1 day base ticket for each member of your party to the package to get the free dining. If we do this and save them for a future trip (since we already have our tickets), can they be upgraded to any type of ticket in the future ? In other words, can we apply the value to the purchase of say a 7 day hopper with no expiration when we need tickets the next trip ?

Variation on the theme...I need a FL season pass for a trip in Nov/Dec 06. Can I book the free dining package for a Sept trip and use the 3-day ticket that I'd get for that package *and apply the cost to a FL season pass for the September trip*?

In other words, I've seen people say you can save your package ticket for future use or upgrade, but I'd want to upgrade to a season or AP for the trip for which the package was purchased (right then and there at Guest Serivces in September).

Does that make sense?
