Question about My Disney Girl

Hello there!!!

I was just wondering if you can buy the My Disney Girl Doll that they include in the My Disney Girl Tea Party at the Grand Floridian? If so does anyone know where and about how much they cost? I am trying to decide if the tea party is worth the $$$. We are going to try to eat at the castle and in the Norwegian castle as well. Just worried that this may be too much. But when you're 4 and a girly girl is there really such thing as too much princesses! I have also read that you can buy princess costumes for the dolls. Does anyone know how much the costumes cost and where they are sold?

I ordered the My Disney Girl doll a few weeks ago from the Character Warehouse in the Prime Outlets via phone. It was $22 plus tax. When I was there last week, they still had the dolls in stock. Only the brown haired doll was available. There were no princess outfits there.

I also went to the Grand Floridian. At the shop on the second floor, there were selling the dolls for $45, but they had all the dolls available. There were also Princess outfits available, but I don't remember the price, perhaps $15-20?

I don't know which doll you are looking for, but if perhaps it is the brown haired one, then I would go ahead and call the Character Warehouse and see if they have any in stock. I spoke to a woman named Ruth and she was fantastic. I also know they recently re-opened the Disney shop at the Outlets at the end of International Drive (Belz?) but I didn't look at the dolls there.

I took my DGDs to the Tea Party two years ago. It is a magical experience. If you take her, make sure she has her Princess gown on. You are given a special "princess" name and announced as you are seated. You are given a crown and a wand. Your Disney Girl and a silver bracelet await you at your
table. There is storytime and a princess visit. We also received scrapbook pages. The Tea Party is much more intimate than the character meals. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience!
