My family is booked to stay on-site for Disney at the end of this month. However, more of my extended family decided they also want to go and are staying off site. They have accommodations that we are able to stay with them for essentially no charge. As of yet, I have only made the down payment on the on-site hotel for Disney, so I was think about cancelling and just going off-site for this trip. Here is my dilemma:
Cancelling seems easy enough, well within the time and rules. However, we booked our FP+ 60 days out and have some really decent/nice ones that I do not want to lose. What happens to them if we cancel the reservation on-site? It warms when about to cancel that you "could" lose them. It is within 30 days now and we have an AP, so that would seem to work in our favor. Please advise and thank you!
