Are the bartenders supposed to be rude as part of the show? Every time we go there, at best the bartender is not chatty. We stopped by on our last day. While waiting, we heard a customer get a very cold shoulder from bartender. As he left he mentioned something about it. We ended up leaving as I didn't want the day to be spoiled by anything. I would you think this is supposed to be a fun spot to hang out at.

I'm thinking it's possible it's just the person if people are just getting the cold shoulder, but I'm sure there might be someone who's had experience can confirm, or deny, as I personally have never been to Moe's. I just know that traditionally if it's "part of the experience" it's usually a slap in the face in terms of how obvious it is and usually the person is talkative the whole time. I'm curious to hear what people have to say as I never been there.

Never had that......it’s a couple of years since we’ve gone in as we prefer table service places, but bar staff were hilarious when we had a drink and not in a rude way.

The bartenders were fine when I went but I didn't get the sense that they were supposed to entertain people, it felt more like a situation where you get your drink and maybe hang for a bit but more likely move along (it also wasn't busy at all, and maybe it would be if the bartenders were more into it).

Yeah, maybe that was it. I'm so used to the bartenders at the hotels being so super cool and friendly, I just expect it from everyone at Universal.

I've never noticed the bartenders to be rude, but the one I've had a Moe's (a couple times now) defiantly isn't overly friendly. He seems a bit dry.

We didn't experience that. But I have noted that they always seem to be understaffed and it can take forever to get a drink there. That might lead to some frustration from both customers and bartenders.
