Not sure how it works but how many people used there bouquet at the MK shoot? After looking at different pics I haven't seen to many. Please let me know! Thanks a bunch! :goodvibes

On a side note: I always come up with random questions and seem to always find the answer on the DISboards. I love this place!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I used my bouquet at the MK Photo Shoot. I didn't pay for a floral refresh b/c I'd brought a fake bouquet to use instead. However, my flowers held up pretty well, so I just used them.

At the time we had our pictures done, Disney was taking most of them from so far away, you could barely even see my bouquet :rotfl: Now it's different, though, so maybe I would go with my fake bouquet for the shoot.

I used my own flowers. I had my flowers refreshed which includes a new bout. for the groom. It was worth it.

I used my bouquet without paying for a refresh two days later since it held up so well. I brought a silk one just in case it didn't but in my pics, it looked just as perfect as the day of the wedding!

I made a small silk replica of mine since my bouquet will be taken away at the end of the wedding to be preserved.

For anyone that wants to use there orginal flowers for the MK shoot and have it perserved:
I had a refresh, did my MK photo shoot, and then my flowers were taken away to be preserved with keepsake floral. I think it works out better because they replace any dead or damaged flowers, so when it gets preserved it's in perfect shape.

Our MK shoot was the morning after our wedding. I did bring my flowers. I did not have the refresh. Our reception was over at 3:00 and by 4:00 we were back in our room and I put them in a glass of water and they really perked up. I also brought my flowers to my dessert party later that night. I put wet papertowels around the stems and put the stems in a small ziplock back and then filled it with some water. It really kept them great.

My DH's bout on the other hand was almost dead by the time the reception was over. We had the bouquets from our ceremony brought over to our reception and then they brought them to our room so I took one of the red roses from there and used it for him the morning of the MK shoot.

Here is a photo of our MK shoot with our flowers.

It varies depending on the type of flowers in your bouquet, but it's usually around $100, and it includes a new boutonniere.

I used my bouquet for my MK shoot and I got it refreshed since the shoot was 2 days after my wedding. The total cost to refresh my bouquet was $100 and that included a new bout for DH. After the shoot was over - Disney Floral took it back so Keepsake Floral can come pick it up for the preservation.

You have to do it before the park opens in the morning - I will be doing mine after as I don't want Jack to see me in my dress before the wedding.

We got married at 9am and started pictures with our photographer at 7am. No way would we have had time to squeeze in a Magic Kingdom photo shoot with Disney's photographers.

But even if we'de been getting married later in the day, I'd never want to do the MK shoot on the same day. You get picked up at 5:45am or 6:45am, depending on which session you have. I would be a wreck by the time the ceremony rolled around. :scared:

Yes you can as we re having ours on the same day as our wedding:thumbsup2 . We re having the 6am shoot, our ceremony is at 10am at SBP. We figured it would be a lovely start to our wedding day plus we d get to have the start of our day together just the 2 of us (no guests) by the most amazing location,Cinderellas Castle:love: .
My bouquet & df's bouttoniere is being delivered to MK for when we arrive for the photo shoot, i really wanted these in our pics.

I ve read about a few other couples who did this too & said how glad of this they were. Its a personal preference to when you want your MK Shoot though, its what works best for you & your df. I dont doubt that by the end of the day we ll be knackered but it ll sure be amazing & worth while. Even though we d of already seen each other before the ceremony it wont spoil anything, i know we ll both be a bag of nerves & very emotional. I cant wait :woohoo:
