My sister is contemplating staying there. Her son takes daily meds that need to be refrigerated. She was told by 2 employees of the resort that she could remove the mini-bar fridge stock to use.
In the FAQ thread about these resorts it states there is a $20 charge per day for using this fridge. Will she be required to pay this charge even though the meds must be refrigerated.
She was going to get a note from his Dr. stating that the needed to be refrigerated.

We just got back last week from a stay at the Dolphin. We were able to rearrange items in the minifridge to place 3 bottles of milk in it. I just put everything back the way it was and we were not charged for anything. In the past if the hotel has charged for something a simple talk with the front desk and they will take it off. I have been charged at other hotels when I haven't even opened the mini-bar and never had a problem. I have also heard that if it is for medical reasons the hotel cannot charge to use a fridge. Some ADA rule you might check that out too but if the medicine is not really large it should work out.
