Cinderella's Royal Table isn't a buffet, but you pay individually regardless.
'Ohana and Garden Grill aren't buffets, but you also pay individually regardless.
BoG has a meet and greet with the Beast at dinner only, and is not a buffet.
But to reiterate what others have said...no sharing allowed at buffets and aycte meals. That would be really stupid on Disney's part. Family of 5? "We'll just share one buffet dinner".
No Sharing at the buffets, all you can eat spots, so they charge you for everyone 3 and up... If you are thinking about a character meal, breakfast is normally the least expensive.
Well played for a common sense policy? Which (non-Disney) buffets allow meal sharing? That's not how a buffet/aycte works. That's not how any of this works.

Given the comment that the PP quoted, I assume the "well played" is commenting on the fact that all character meals are AYCTE/buffets, not the fact that none of the buffets allow meal sharing. Which is rather a smart move on WDW's part (and not just a "common sense policy".
