My parents are leaving a few days before us, their flight is 3:10pm, is it safe to assume ME will pick them up at noon at BLT (where we are all staying)? I have an ADR for 'ohana at 9:55am that same morning and want to make sure they have enough time to get back to BLT and get on the ME.
Thanks in advance!

Pick-up is normally about three hours before the flight's scheduled departure. The front desk will be able to confirm the exact time when checking in, as well as print off the boarding notice.

Pick up is 3 hours (plus or minus 15 minutes) before the flight. You need to be at the platform, completely ready to go, 15 minutes before that. You also need to allow time to get anything that's been left with bell services. I would be back at the resort no less than 45 minutes before the scheduled pick up time. That means leaving breakfast around 11:00.

I always allow 90 minutes for a character meal, but if theyret fine with the possibility of leaving a bit early, it'll be fine.

Keep in mind that you may not be seated right at your ADR time. I've waited as much as 30 minutes past to get a table.

I agree too, they need to leave by 11:00 at the latest to get back to their resort. The time they will be given for the bus is the time it leaves. If they are not outside waiting to go the bus may leave without them, and they would need to find their own way back to the airport.

remember they can't just get on the next bus unless it 's not scheduled to be full. They won't knock someone else off because they missed their bus.

That being said when we leave our resort to meet our DME bus for MCO we are always early and when a bus shows up it's not ours but I ask the driver if there is any room to go early and have never been turned down.

Worst case scenario, if they don't make it to the DME stop in time for their pick up, they could always hop in an Uber or cab. Obviously it wouldn't be free, but I think its better than rushing around if they're running late.

Snip

THis - and you never know when that "next bus" will be, they don't just run on a 30 minute schedule they only stop at a resort if there is a reservation. So if you miss your DME bus there is always a chance the next one could be an hour or more later!
