question about making reservations for others through EA

If I'm a member of National's EA....can I reserve a car for someone else under my EA membership?

Reason I'm asking is, my parents will be with us at DVC for Thanksgiving and I've already reserved a car...but now I want to get a separate car for my parents. Can I just make the reservation under my name and get the EA discount for them or is there another way to handle it?

No, the person driving the car out must match the reservation unless you pay for an additional driver. There really isn't an EA discount, codes are less. If they use quick rent, they can bypass the counter (unless they have a coupon).

I just tried it with Quick Rent, using the Priceless code and the Ent. code...and got a great rate for an intermediate.

So, is that correct, they can rent using those codes and bypass the counter just as you would if you were an Emerald Club member?

That's probably what I'll end up doing. I signed up free too so I'll just do the same for them.

Spouses/domestic partners are included and business associates. Others have to pay $7 per day.

You have to drive the car out, you DH can return it.

You cannot use quick rent if you have a coupon.

QuickRent Rental Requirements and Exclusions

QuickRent is not available with reservations that contain the following:

• National coupons
• Special equipment such as child restraint seats, cars equipped with hand controls and ski or luggage racks
• Central Bill numbers
• Reservations over 30 days
