We are going to WDW in July with extended family (10 in all, but 2 are toddlers) and we have all our ADRs set. For most of the places we booked they could not put all 10 of us together so we had to split 5 and 5 or 6 and 4. They said they would put us "near" each other. If I had gone through Magical Gatherings instead of Disney Dining would they have been able to put us at one table? :confused3

We have ADRs at:
CRT
LTT
H&V
Sci-Fi
Alfredo's (this is the only place they put us at one table)

Thanks in advance for your input!

Hi,

Not sure about the answer to your specific question, but I can tell you about our experiences (we usually go to WDW as a group of nine).

When we make ADRs the CM always tells us we won't be at one table, but they will put us at two tables close to each other. In every case so far--and there have been too many to count!--we have either wound up at one table or at two tables right next to each other.

And...we have done this at all the restaurants that are on your list, plus a lot more....and we've done it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Now, I can't guarantee that will happen to you...July is very busy...but I'll bet there's a good chance that the same thing will happen.

Enjoy your trip!

Disney dining put me through to a group dining specialist and we have no problem booking for a large group at that restaurant.

Maybe it depends on the place you wan to eat???

I do know that Ohana can handle a large group sitting together and it is so much fun...We just love the atmosphere and the view...Not to mention the food! They fun games for the kids too! :thumbsup2

good luck

I've gone with a group of 16 and I'm heading back in Sept./Oct. with a group of 19. I went through Magial Gatherings, and they say the same thing. They have to cover themselves, kind of like the "all resort requests are requests, but every attempt will be made to fulfill them if there is availability" kind of thing. We sat together almost every meal, and if we weren't at the same table, we were right next to each other.

I have made many, many reservations for anywhere from 14 to 28. Although we have used Magical Gathering several times, I always call group dining direct. They tell me the same thing - may be at several tables but they will be close. Sometimes it's one big table, sometimes not but we are always close. In fact we are having a grand gathering this Oct. and I just made a ressie at Crystal Palace through group dining for 30.
