Question about Magic Morning and AP

I have an AP and am going this weekend (Sat-Mon) with my mom and cousins. They have 3-day park hopper tickets, so they get the Magic Morning on Sunday, but I don't with the AP.

What time can they enter? What time can I enter? If I remember correctly, there will be a rope at the end of the Main Street and they can go along the sidewalk to be able to go on rides, but I would have to wait behind the rope... at least I think that's what I remember from previous trips.

Any insight would be appreciated. We are staying at the HoJo so they can walk over ahead of me if I can't get in. But, we're hoping that once I get in, even if I can't get past the rope they can use my ticket and get a FP for Space Mountain for me.

They can enter 1 hour before the park's official opening time. You can enter at official opening.

There is a special gate open (when we were there is was all the way to the right as you face Disneyland) that they can enter 1 hour prior to opening. They simply need to show their passes to get in. If they enter after other guests have been let in and are waiting at rope drop at the top of Main Street, they simply stay on the sidewalk (CMs will keep the rif-raf guests off the curb and sidewalk, lol) and they will be able to go past those waiting for rope drop. Keep your passes out because they'll want to see them again. Of course, if the regulars haven't been let in yet, then you can walk down Main Street and no need to show your pass again because the regulars will still be waiting outside the gates.

Edited to add: I don't believe that the Fast Pass machines are operating until the park opens. At least I didn't see that they were, they were covered.

No FPs during MM, and they cannot use any ticket to get FPs that has not been scanned at the gate. In other words, the person needs to actually enter one of the parks and get their entrance ticket scanned in order for it to be used to get FPs.

When MM starts one hour early all open turnstiles are used for MM. As the hour progresses trhey are slowly converted to normal non-MM entrances. They may or may not allow people into the end of Main Street. Depends on the day.
