Question about leaving luggage after checkout?

We are planning on only one night at US hotel. We'll come in late the night before and then hit IOA all day the next day before heading over to Disney. Can we leave our luggage early in the morning with bellman and then pick it up at the end of the day? Is the space air conditioned- we'll have some asthma meds with us? Is there somewhere to shower and change in case we decide to swim before we leave?

Yes, they will store your luggage indoors, just like Disney does. Not sure about showering after the pool, but there are restrooms near the pool you can change in.

The only showers I know of are in the fitness center so unless you are club or can get upgraded through the You First program with Lowes you will need to pay $10 per person to use the gym and kids aren't usually allowed.

Wait, am I reading this right? Can I leave my luggage with the hotel even after checkout of 11 am? I was going to be switching hotels from RPR to one of the local hiltons to travel to disney. If I could just leave my luggage with RPR until we finish the day at Universal and then pick out luggage up at the end of the day to switch hotels, that'd be awsome.

We checked in last week at 6:45 AM to have them hold our luggage. To our surprise he said they had a room available then! Put our bags in the room, bought tickets and were on the boat at 7:00. SWEET!!!

Please can I ask how much you would tip to leave your luggage with the bellman? I`m assuming we would have to leave it on the day we check-in if its really early and also on the day we check out. Would they also being your luggage to your room or do you take it yourself.

Any help on tipping woud be great, thanks.

Basically anybody that touches your bags usually get a $1.00-$2.00/bag. You'd tip the bellman that puts your luggage in storage, then tip whoever brings the luggage to your room (or if you pick it up yourself, tip the guy that hands it to you). Same thing for the day you check out. Tip the guy that picks it up for storing and again when you pick it up.

Yes, basically anytime anyone touches your bags they get a tip.

Just got back from RPR. We were allowed to shower in the gym at no cost after checking out of our room. The front desk clerk told me the gym showers were complimentary when I asked. I did not stay in a club level room. I had signed up for LoewsFirst, but did not mention to the clerk that I was a member. At the gym's front desk, I simply mentioned to the staff member that I was told I could use the showers for free. He directed me to the ladies locker room. A mom with 3 small children were already in there so kids are allowed. The facility has towels, but you need to bring your own soap and shampoo - just take the ones from your hotel room. We did this after spending a half day at the parks.
It was also confirmed that you could leave your luggage before checking in and after checking out. We didn't need to do that because we had a car, but what everyone has said about tipping is accurate. The luggage holding area was off to the side of the lobby.
