How are you guys doing it? I want to make them sturdier for the luggage tags and such but the only thing I have is one of those scrapbook laminators and I'm not sure if that will make it tough enough.

If you don't peel the MHPC's but leave them on the cards--glue 2 together back to back and THEN laminate them they are much sturdier to use for luggage tags.

That is an excellent idea! I'll definitely do that to the one I am hanging from my bag!

Thanks!

So, you trim the excess from the boards and then laminate? I guess once I have them I'll be able to visualize it.

And yes, I'm getting a little ahead of myself since I'm not leaving until February.

I used the small laminate sheet, like business card size. I peeled them off and put them back to back. We had no problem with them as luggage tags on our recent trip.

We sort of like the coaster, paper ones, they leave at the deluxes, not sure what the mod's and values use as coasters but deluxe coasters are approx. 3 inch circle, black background with Mickeys head in the center. Easy to spot our luggage with these.

I just did this for our trip last week. You can easily peel off the Mickey head shape from the paint chip. Then, I glued two together so you have green on both sides. Then I took them to Staples and had them laminated using the heavy laminating paper. They were really sturdy (think how thick your driver's license is) and it only cost $2 per page. I think I got about 8 to a page, since I left space around them to cut them out easily.

I didn't use them for luggage tags, but I tied one to our stroller and one to my purse. Two different Disers noticed them and said "hi" when we were there.

Thanks guys! I'm definitely going to do this when it gets closer to our trip. I'm so excited! I'm probably going to HD this weeked so if anyone needs some LGMHs let me know. I'd be happy to pick some up.

Hi
I couldn't peel off the Mickey head shape from the paper. I had to cut around it to get the shape of the Mickey head. I got them at Home Depot, so maybe they were different than yours. Thanks for the tip on laminating them. I'll do that for my trip in December.

I just read on another thread that you soak the Mickey heads in water for about 5 minutes and the paper peels off. They curl up a little, so put them under or between something to make them flat. Then you put them back to back, laminate, punch with a hole puncher and put a lime green yarn through to tie onto luggage, stroller etc. I thought this was a good tip and want to do this for my next trip. :thumbsup2
