question about july week end crowds

at this point of the year (July)..... is the weekend really any busier than a week day or is it all just A crowded MESS? With our large group we may have to visit the parks the weekend before July 4. Not my first choice, but sometimes you gotta do what you can and call it good. wondering if there are good and bad days. I know there is a science to predicting crowds at wdw on certain days, but I am not sure about that either.

All days during the summer are busy but weekends are worse since many of us locals come over for the day. But I think you summed it up nicely...it's a crowded mess.

Yes...staying onsite will help with the wait times but it will still be very busy everyplace. Don't forget about how busy the restaurants and even restrooms will be!
