Question about Hopper Plus tickets

If you purchase a Hopper Plus pass and use one of the plus options on one day and do not go to any of the major parks that day, does it count as one of your days,just as one of your plus options, or does it count as both?? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Plus Options are seperate from Park days. Options are for Water parks, Pleasure Island and I beleive Disney Quest. Hope this helps.
