question about hidden mickey and priority seating

This may be a really stupid question, and I appologize..but here are my 2 questions....

With the hidden mickeys, do you get something for finding them? who do you tell when you find them? Why do some of the "pins" have a hidden Mickey?

What is priority seating? when would you use it?

Finding them is just a fun search like a treasure hunt. CMs are happy to help, but you receive only thrills for finding them. Priority seating in what location? For instance if you are doing a package for the Candlelight Processional (dinner and show) they seat all of these persons first, then persons not doing the package can fill the remaining seats that are available. Hidden mickeys are just for the fun of finding them. There is even a book out that gives hints and locations.

Priority seating is the old name for what is now know as Advanced Dining Reservations or "ADR's". If you want to eat at a Table Service restaurant in WDW or any of the resort hotels, (Table Service meaning you sit down and someone serves you) you can make an ADR up to 180 days in advance (190 for wdw resort guests). While many may argue as to whether these are necessary, the general consensus seems to be that if you are going at a busy time- holidays, summer, spring break etc.- or if you have your heart set on eating at a specific location you should definitly call and make an ADR for that restaurant. Many of the popular places book up quickly. Hope this helps!
