Question About Halflinger Shoes...

I know there was a thread about these , and I sure cant locate it. But what I was wondering since they need to be bought online, are they true to size?

That is my only hesitation , I hate to purchase and then if they are not the right size I have to send them back and get the correct size. Or are there any stores that carry this brand? Anyone with an answer would be much appreciated.

Nordstrom carries them. I think they ran true, but mine are slippers and I sort of expect them to slip.

I don't think they are great "budget" purchases, boiled felt doesn't hold up well (works well for slippers) and they are expensive boiled felt - for me they are a treat, but not a practicality.

Are they not very good for arches?

For slippers, they have a great arch built into them. When I say they don't hold up well, its the upper, they wear out a lot faster than wearing a leather or a manmade material shoe. Its a fabric upper - a thick fabric upper, but still fabric.

Love mine, I just expect to buy a new pair of slippers every year. At $100 a pop, those are expensive slippers.
