Question about grills

We will be staying at the THV next month. I was wondering if there is normally charcoal in the grills or do we need to provide our own? If we do, do they sell it at the gift shop/market area? What about lighter fluid and matches to start the grill? Thanks for the info!

You need to provide charcoal. I don't know if the store has it. And some charcoal now comes in a form that no lighter fluid is needed, it's a wonderful thing.

Does anyone know if we will need to clean the grills ourselves, and if so, do they provide the implements (like the long stick with the metal bristles)?

We bbq'ed several times @ SSR. They sell charcoal @ the store by artists palette. Its the kind that already has starter fluid in it.. It is very easy to start. You can go to the community hall and sign out the bbq tools for no charge. The grills were always clean when we used them. Of course we cleaned up the picnic tables ourselves when done, but when we returned the next am to clean grills, they were already cleaned..
