Question About Getting to the Wishes Fireworks Cruise on time

Hello again everyone at the Disboards. I hope you guys/gals can help me once again.

Me and my 2 DSs (7 & 9) will be flying into Orlando Airport on Monday June 26th and arriving at 7:05pm by Jetblue Airlines. We will be taking Tiffany Towncar to the BoardWalk Inn, which is where we will be staying .

I booked a Wishes Fireworks Cruise leaving the Contemporary at 9:00pm (they said 8pm but it will probably be 9 since wishes start later then).

My question is, do you think we will be able to get to the Contemporary Marina by 9:00pm

My guess is not. They say to be there by 8pm because they take you out on the Lagoon prior to wishes.

If you are on time I wouldn't imagine you would be to the resort much before 8pm and then you need to get to Contem. Even if you rent a taxi your talking about 15mins. then you have to walk around back my guess is that you wouldn't be there before 8:40 if everthing is perfect and you don't actually check in to your room.

This is going to be tight. I would check your luggage at BWI, don't even try to check in if there is any line at all. Ask Tiffany they would be willing to then take you to the Contemporary for a little extra $, if not take a taxi. Do not count on Disney transportation with so little time to spare.

The person I spoke with on the phone said I will probably need to be there at 9 since wishes will be at 10 that time.

I don't think so. Why not have BWV hold your bags and have Tiffany Town Car drop you off at the Contemporary. Then, you can take a cab or a bus to DTD then to BWV. If I were, you, I'd take the cab!
