Question about Genie+ Magic Key discount

I don't know if anyone else has been in this situation, but we are planning a family trip this fall, and I have a question. I will have a Magic Key, but no one else will. All the tickets will be loaded on my account. When I purchase Genie+ daily, does anyone know if the discount will apply to all the tickets I purchase it for, or just for my ticket? When you're planning for a family of 7, every little discount helps!

(someone correct me if i’m wrong, but) The discount only applies to the people with a magic key, unfortunately not everyone in your party . You’ll also need to make two separate transactions when you do purchase genie+, one for those with a magic key and one for those with a normal park ticket!

Oh, has that changed then? Because before when I bought it for me and whoever I was with, it was one transaction. This was before discounts though, so that would make sense, I guess.

Yes. This was my experience. I was there the day the Genie+ discount went into effect. One day I purchased it for myself and daughter in one transaction. The next day (the day the discount went into effect for MK holders), I had to purchase it for myself (MK holder at the time) and my daughter (no MK) in 2 separate transactions.
