Question about Formal night attire?

O.K. Here's my question. DH really doesn't want to wear a suit or bring for that matter on the cruise. I can't blame him, since he works for an investment bank and wears a suit for 14 hours a day!!! Anyway, our plans for the formal and semi-formal nights were to go to Palo's one of the nights and then Topsiders for the other. Now, if we do Palo's on a formal night, would we have to be formal, or would we just have to adhere to Palo's normal dress code? Neither of the formal and semi-formal menus really excite us, since we both HATE lobster.

If you go to Palo you would just follow the Palo dress code, which is jackets suggested for men. :) That is the dress code every night in Palo, regardless of the events in the main dining rooms.

The formal night is the only night that offers Lobster and it, by no means, is the ONLY thing on the menu. There is a variety of selections, including Filet Mignon.

But to each his own...
