When you have an allergic reaction, can they leave you feeling wiped out? I think I'm having a reaction to the doritos I ate last night-the roof of my mouth is bumpy and covered in red dots, and the back of my throat is red and puffy, and it's tingling. I'm allergic to sunflower oil (yes, something that is allergy-safe lol) and doritos are made with canola/and or sunflower oil. I think these were made with and/or :lmao:
I feel wiped out. I don't know if it's something else going on or because of the reaction. Anyone with experience? Normally if I react it's this weird blistery rash on my hands or feet and only the roof of my mouth gets puffy.

TIA!

There aren't very many of us with these kind of food reactions - I like how you call it "puffy." I call it "swollen roof of the mouth," or "it feels swollen, anyways, it's damned uncomfortable, whatever you want to call it." :)

I do not get tired, though. I've had a lot a lot a lot of food reactions and that has never been part of it. Sorry.

But you aren't alone. I have that. I know someone else who gets it and I had a patient once who reported it. :)
