I am so far from crafty it's ridiculous so I turn to you fine folk for help! First time on the craft board BTW...

I need to use fake flowers for an outdoor permanent decorative project. Are there ANY kind of flowers that will last without fading, crumbling etc? Would I be better with silk or plastic (or other)? I don't mind replacing them once in a while but I would hate to have to replace them every couple of weeks.

They would be in direct sunlight all day long too. Thanks for any help you can give.

We design high-end silk flowers for sale at department stores and we definitely recommend flowers that are made for the outdoors and UV treated, especially if they'll be placed in direct sunlight and weather the elements. You need to look for products that are labeled "polyblend outdoor" and you should be good to go. Autograph Foliage in Ohio has a great selection. Good luck!
