Question About Extending Our Stay 2 Days

We are staying at the YC for four nights and booked the room with passess included directly thru Disney. I would like to add 2 days onto my stay, but since our UPH passes are good until midnite on Friday (our last day), I don't want to book the room with the passes. Can I just get a room only reservation for the 2 nights and then I could buy separate park hoppers in advance, but stay at the same hotel? I'm so confused LOL.

Yes you can. You will have to make another reservation for those two days, though. We did this once, coming in a day early. They said, when I made the reservation, that we may have to move to another room, but we didn't.
