In Sept, I am staying on a monorail resort which is eligible for extended evening hours. When Epcot has extended evening hours (usually on a Monday) I would like to go to MK during the day and Epcot in the evening. I have 2 questions regarding the 6:00PM virtual queue for Guardians:
1. Do you have to be in the park at 6:00 for the 6:00PM virtual queue?
2. Is an Epcot reservation required for the 6:00PM virtual queue?

Thanks - Fred

As of right now

No you don't have to be in the park.
No you don't need to have a reservation as long as you have a park hopper pass. If you don't have a park hopper your only park of the day will need to be Epcot.

Hey Fred- were you able to get in the VQ for GOTG in September? This is my exact plan for an upcoming 1 day trip and was hoping to hear a success story.

Last week, I had Hollywood Studios park reservation and a park hopper ticket. Was able to get GOTG virtual queue before leaving HS.

I can corroborate - we got our 6 PM VQ while at dinner in the Beach Club.
Excellent! Thank you both! We'll only have one day in the parks on this trip and have MK reserved. But it's an EE at EPCOT day. So we'd like to try for GotG if there's a chance.

Go for it! It’s an awesome ride!
Yes, unless you are prone to motion sickness. Some people are very affected by this ride. Not sure why they haven’t added bags in the ride cars. It would make the CM’s job a lot easier.

Lol. I can get motion sick, but usually not on rides. How does it compare to say, Forbidden Journey at Universal, which I think, is another one people often get sick on?
