Are there two types of Express Passes - the regular Express Pass and the Express Plus Pass?

I was at Universal several years ago and I remember having an Express Pass but I do not remember having to pay for it.

They DID used to have the 'free' kiosks where you put your ticket in, and had a choice of 2 return times. They took those out early last year. Now, if you want Express, you either purchase it, or stay at an onsite hotel.

Thanks Bubba'sMom!

I think I read somewhere that I should wait until I get to the park to determine whether or not I would need Express Pass. Is this true?

We will be at US/IOA on Sunday, November 4th. Is this typically a crowded time? Will I need to buy an Express Pass?

Hard to say...they are going to run $25.99 each that day....so, you CAN purchase them in advance, but your best bet is to wait and see how the crowds are that day..... If it's busy, you can purchase them in the park...if not busy, you won't need them!
