Question about early reservations

We have a couple reservations for sgortly before or at park opening. My question is how early can we enter the parks?

Timing/procedure varies a little by park/restaurant. I have only had a PPO at Epcot. We arrived well before 8:00 for an 8:05 GG PPO (9:00 patk opening) . We we're in a line of families let into the park by 8:00 (they verified that we had a PPO by scanning my magic band).

Originally I had an 8:40 ADR but was still planning to be in the group ready to go in when first allowed- I had read that we would likely be seated before our time though folks with earlier times could be taken in ahead of us even if they arrived at the podium after. I kept checking for an earlier time as insurance...wanted to hit Soarin' with no FP and no wait
