Question about Disney Visa Rewards...

I'm wondering how long it takes Bank One to post the rewards you've earned? I spent about $1500 last month, and my billing cycle ended yesterday. I checked my rewards and they still say "balance as of 3/22". I was really hoping that my rewards that I've earned this past month would be available for use on our trip in a few weeks. I tried reading the "small print" on-line, but I couldn't read it (too small!) and couldn't find an answer to my question.

If anyone can help with this, I'd be most grateful! Thanks!!;)

I don't think you get the points until you pay the bill. Also, the first time you claim the points you need to call them to get a card (I think it's like a prepaid credit card) mailed to you, which could take a few weeks. I'd call them today!!! After you have the card, you can "bank" whatever points you have accumulated onto your card by calling them. At least this is my understanding, I've got the credit card but haven't actually asked for my reward card yet. They do have a website thru BankOne I believe.

Also, I see you've stayed in Wilderness cabins and the Doubletree-what you're opionions? I'm having a hard time finding an affordable place for my family of 6, those seem to be two of my options.

Thanks! I have the Rewards Card, I just need to transfer more rewards to it. I guess I'll pay the bill pronto and hopefully my rewards from last month will make it in time for at least part of the trip! (from what I understand, you can transfer $$ at Guest Services?)

It's been a while since we stayed at the Double Tree DTD...I think they've renovated since then. We liked it OK, but it's not like staying on-site. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the door separating the living room from the bedroom was a louver door. Not very soundproof and not much privacy.

On the other hand, the FW cabins are AWESOME!! We loved having the separate bedroom and living area. The full kitchen with full-sized appliances was great, and saved us some money on meals. FW itself is very very nice. It's a great respite from the hustle and bustle of the parks. I am not a "campy" person so I was a little worried that it would be too "woodsy" for me, but I was wrong. It was very modern and comfortable and the surroundings were just right! The pools aren't themed, but adequate for the time we were in them. The bus system gets a bad rap on here...I thought it was pretty good and easy once I got the hang of it.

If you have any other questions, just ask away!

I am pretty sure you should get the rewards on the bill that you spent the $1500 on. I am looking at my bill right now and my points are applied. I have always noticed them right away on my bill I get in the mail. Maybe if you are looking at the website it may take a little longer to show up.

I'm also wondering about the rewards points. We originally signed up for this hoping to get the Visa package for our dates at the FW cabins, but it didn't work out. I think we could have had the Poly or All Stars during our dates, but one of our weekends is sold out and I guess that affects availability of the package. I also wondered about the 25 point promo. Can I call to have that added if we are new? I guess I should have given them a code when we applied.

Our billing cycle ends on the 19th (usually). The reward points always take 2-3 days to post. Now if you have some charges that get double rewards those will take 8-10 weeks to show up on your account.

Wait a couple of days, they will post to your account and then transfer as many rewards points as you want.

Thank you!! I will check my statement again in a few days. I wish those double rewards appeared immediately...I've been charging everything and treating it like a debit card from my checkbook, so I'm sure I've accumlated a bunch!
