Question about Disney Store gift card

Can I use a DS gift card to buy Disney dollars?

Some stores will let you, and some won't. How's that for help, lol!

I've tried a few times at two different disney stores in my area and they have turned me down. However, many people have posted success stories on this board so it varies from store to store and perhaps even from employee to employee.

It is worth a try though! You have nothing to lose!

Yes, you can use a Disney Store Gift Card to buy Disney Dollars. You cannot use a merchandise credit to buy them. Also, you cannot use a Disney Store Gift Card at WDW, only disney dollars.
