Question about DDE

We are looking at getting AP for the family since we are going to go a couple of times in less than a year. My question is that do you have to buy the DDE for each person (including my children) in our family? Also another question is when my parents go with us on the second trip can we use the DDE for them as well? TIA!!

From just checking this out for myself, Disney says you can use one card for up to 10 people at the sitting. You can add a spouse or other person for an additional $25 but it looks like that is for when you are dining seperatly.
