I'm planning on getting an early flight into MCO on 11/19/05.

Is there a DCL bus there at all times to take people to Port Canaveral? How does this work?

Or, should I just bite the bullet and rent a car to get us to the terminal?

Be warned- I have NO idea what I'm doing in terms of planning this cruise, so any help or advice would be awesome!!

As long as DCL knows your flight information they will have an agent there to direct you. If you are booking the air by yourself (not through Dinsey) make sure that you (or your Travel agent if you have one) calls DCL and let's them know the flight info. They will input it on your reservation (yes even if you booked it yourself) and it will print on their arrivals manifest (if you are using their transfers).

Depending on How early your flight arrives will depend on when the buses will be avaliable. Remember the buses will be at the port that morning picking up the passengers from the arriving cruise so the first one to arrive at the airport will probably be around 9:30 or so... Then they will wait til it is full (or very near full) before sending it to the port. The port is about 45 minutes away so they are not going to send the bus until it is full.

The DCL buses are there 9:30 prompt. You can go check in at the ground transportation counters earlier than that. DCL is SUPER EFFICIENT when it comes to transfers.
