Question about cups

OK, we leave WED and I am trying to see if it is worth it to get the refillable mugs. What can you get with them? Can you also get coffee & tea? Is there seltzer available or juice, lemonade? I don't want the kids drinking soda all week so just trying to get an idea. Also how much are the mugs? Thanks all!

Mugs are $12. You can get coffee, tea, soda, water, and hot chocolate. My resort even had two styles of mugs: commuter cups and the bigger cups that will not fit in your cup holder. At my resort, juices and lemonade were by the bottle only.

If I recall...... there was a HI C Lemonade Option available in the resort we have stayed at the last two times.

We were there 9 days and didn't get a mug until the 5th day. That's when we finally started slowing down and staying around the resort more. We got our $12 out of it the last 4 days, but for those first 5 days, it wasn't worth it for us.

We had a fridge in the room and had picked up water, juice and soda on the way to the hotel, so we always had drinks in the room at night when returning from the parks. It was a hike to the drink island too, so we really only used it when having our meals.

Sure saw lots of people using them though--but for us it wasn't that necessary.

I know the kids were able to get HI-C lemonade and I thought, but am not absolutely sure, that they were able to get HI-C fruit punch. We thought they were well worth it and get new ones every year. I really hope though that GF changes their design right now I've got ten mugs with the same two designs.

Well... if they don't update the design and you go back to the same resort, you could always take them back and continue using them...

I will probably get the mug when I stay at ASMo in a few weeks, but the rooms will be closer to ASMu so I'm not sure at which resort I should buy the mug. Too bad you can't use them at the different resorts.

It doesn't matter which All Stars resort you buy your mug at ... they are good at all 3 food courts because they are "sister" resorts. We have movies mugs, but my DD has a Music one because she liked it better.

The same is true for POR and POFQ.

AND you can pool-hop between sister resorts as well ... so remember to take your mugs with you if you're using one of the other pools at Music or Sports.

Just got back from the CR and they had both lemonade and Apple juice for the refillable mugs plus a fruit punch. ALso they had slushies
cherry and coke avaible too.
