Question about Christmas decorations

Does anyone know about when the resorts put up their Christmas decorations? We have decided to change our August trip to November (I just got back 1/20/03 and will never ever tour in the hot weather again--it was awesome to be at WDW when it was cooler). Since we'll be there in November now, we were hoping to catch some of WDW in it's pre-Christmas splendor.

Usually shortly after thanksgiving...through the first week in december everything is put up.

Some people who went last year in mid-November posted on another thread that they saw decorations going up or already up.

They were starting to go up lat year just before Veteran's Day. We were there the year before and arrived on 11/30 and all the decorations were up and looked incredible!

I'd love to go in mid/late November, before Thanksgiving, but the Osborne Lights aren't open until after Thanksgiving.

In 2001 we went from Nov 7-17, and many of the resort decorations were already up. On the 17th they had an annual passholder preview of the Osborne lights, but it was a total madhouse that I won't return to. In many of the hotels you see regular decor one day and wake up to Christmas the next ~ It really is like the elves visit. My favorite thing though is the Lights of Winter in EPCOT which don't start until the day after Thanksgiving.

We were there last November the week before thanksgiving and they were already up at the resorts. Each day at the parks, there seemed to be more and more.
