My son is 6 1/2 and will be 3 months away from turning 7 by the time I come out to Florida for our visit later this summer. For those of you who have taken children to Discovery Cove, what ages were the youngest there and were kids that young ok there? Did they have fun and not get scared?

Still trying to decide if I should leave my son home with my parents that day or take him with me. He says he wants to swim with the dolphins and it would just be he and I, otherwise I will be going alone.

We had a six year old girl with her mother in our Trainer for a Day group in November. She seemed to have had a wonderful time apart from when we went into the sting ray lagoon when she started to scream.

My DD was 6 when she went - and loved it :)

SHe wouldn't go in the Ray Pool but snorkelled in the resort pool, fed the birds in the aviary & played in the lazy river :)
