Just booked a quick trip and while making my reservation, I was able to grab Chef Mickey's breakfast for 10:20am on our MK day which is 10/1. The only other option was 7:30 am and I don't think we will be making it that early with the baby. Should I risk a long wait and show up around 8:30-9am to eat on "standby" so I can get to MK earlier or just wait til my assigned time?

This will be our first visit not doing the parks from open to close and maximizing our time. We are going to go at our own pace as we have no idea what the baby will be up to. We will be going early in the day, back to the hotel in the afternoon and back to the parks in the evenings so I'd rather not start our day in the parks at 12pm.

Any advice??? :confused3

What if you went to the park for some early rides, then monorailed (or even walked) back out? If you're there at 8:45 for the rope drop, you might be ready for a break and a big meal by 10:20.

I actually would take the 7:30 a.m. Then hit MK at rope drop, stay a couple of hours then head back for a break.

That's what I'd recommend doing too. :)

I would suggest grabbing a bagel or something as true "breakfast" and get to MK at opening. Stay their until 10:00 and then hop the monorail one stop to the Contemporary in time for your 10:20 ps. Treat this as an early lunch. It will be less crowded, you will not be pushed and will have more character time. Then go back to the park.
