Question about check out and flights

This is probably a very "duh" question, so I'm sorry in advance. What happens when your check out time is hours before the shuttle leads for your flight? Can you just check out and hang out at DTD then come back when it's time for your shuttle? I'm assuming once you checkout pools are off limits? Staying at the DL hotel if that helps. And have the super shuttle for transpo. I know check out time is 11. Our flight is leaving at 6pm. Just wondering how this works? We've always had early flights back so I've never had to wonder about this before

If your check out time is hours before your shuttle comes, then the hotel will hold onto your luggage until you go. I'm not sure if you're allowed to still use the pool, but that's a good question.

Oh they do hold on to luggage? Splendid! We are planning on going to Storyteller's for breakfast and then see what our options are. It didn't even occur to me until just now we would even have to worry about luggage, haha good to know we can leave it at the hotel!

Yes, even the non-resort hotels will hold luggage. They will tag it and put it in the back. Desert Inn and Suites had lockers for the smaller items that we needed to pay for on our last trip, but still only a couple dollars and they kept all the big stuff behind the desk for us. We always try to fly in early and fly out later so we can get a few extra hours of vacation
