Has anyone had experience with transferring a reservation that you made yourself to a travel agent? I was originally just going to cancel mine and have the agent make a new one, but I have a standard room and only preferred is left, so the cost is significantly higher. The travel agent is someone I know, who has offered to help me when it's time to book my dining reservations and fastpasses. I thought if she was doing the work, it's only fair that she gets the booking. Thanks.

This used to be easy to do, but I'm thinking they changed a while back and said you have to do it within something like 30 days of making the reservation.

Thank you. At least I have the reservation. I can just get her a gift to thank her for helping me.

There is a form that you fill out that transfers the reservation to the agent. The 30 day time frame I think is accurate. I had a hard time getting mine acknowledged the last time I tried. It took them almost a week and a half before they acknowledged it. By then I had changed the reservation again so we just had my TA book the change!
