Question about catching a flight?

I am on the Westerm 1/17 cruise and am not sure what flight to leave from Orlando. Can you make an 11:20 am flight after disembarking?

DCL suggests that you make your flight home at 12:00/12:30pm at the earliest.

You're supposed to be off the ship by 9:00am. Barring any unforeseen delays, the airport is about an hour from the port so you should be able to make a 11:20 flight. Keep in mind that security at MCO can get quite backed up.

We are on the same cruise. Members of the forum have been pretty optomistic about early filghts. Our is 12:00p.m. The real issue is your source of transportation. We are using TiffanyTowncar and we are confident we will make it. From what I have heard DCL bus may make it tougher. Having a rental car means drop off time too. Good luch. See you 1/17/04!

I would not feel comfortable with a flight that early...but that is just me. With security since 9/11/01 they want you at the airport 2 hours before your domestic flight...that would mean that they would want you there by 9:20......

We just returned from our Sept 25 Wonder cruise. We had early seating, so our breakfast was at 6:45 am. When we finished the ship had already been cleared of customs and we walked off the ship around 8:00 am. We had a rental car in the parking lot to drive back to airport. We returned the car and were checking are luggage in by 9:00am. Of course our flight wasn't until 1:20. We tried to get a earlier flight, but everything was booked. If you use a limo service you could do this even faster, so I think you shouldn't have any problems making a 11:20 flight.

We had an 11:15 AM flight after our Western Cruise on 8/9/03 and were off the ship by 8:30, boarded a DCL bus and were at the airport 45 minutes later. Just make sure you are one of the first off the ship.
