Question about booking

We are trying to get one night at a studio on 12-19-08. Our 7 month window opens up on Tuesday.

We have 15 developer points and 10 2007 points that have been banked into 2008 (Dec. UY).

I want to make sure they use all 15 of the Developer points and only the necessary amount of 2008 points to reserve the room we are able to get. I am assuming I will take whatever they have.

Is this simple or is there something special I have to say to make sure they use the correct points? Since I am not banking or borrowing, I assume it is straightforward. I hope this makes sense!

You should tell them while booking that you want to use your developer points first. They should know, but they don't always do what seems to be the most sensible.
