Question about BOG Lunch Braised Chicken

Hello All -

For BOG lunch, the only real option we liked is the Braised chicken but it has bacon. Has anyone been able to get that ingredient excluded from the dish? I tried looking this up but can’t find it. Even tried calling DIS dining phone and didn’t get much.

I know in most cases it can, but depending if it’s part of sauce or something it could be an issue doing this.

I believe when you preorder you can request no bacon.

I just had this while there last week. I don't remember seeing or tasting any bacon in this dish. If it was there, perhaps it was in the sauce and I had no idea. The braised chicken was excellent and I would order it again. I would let them know when you arrive to the restaurant that you are unable to have bacon----I overheard and saw several other families have a food allergy during our time there and each time Disney seemed to gladly accommodate them and whatever need they had. I would be surprised if they couldn't remove the bacon---as not only could pork be a food allergen for someone---culturally not everyone can eat bacon/pork as well. Good luck!

The bacon listed has to be cooked into the sauce. There was no sign of bacon on the dish when we had it in June.
